7th Pay Commission: Govt employees to Get Revised Allowances from 1 Oct 2016
As per Delhi media report central government employee will get revised allowance as per 7th pay commission from 01 October 2016.
There is one committee, working for allowance recommendation. Working of this committee is to finalize new allowance in seventh pay commission. Members of this committee are representative of different unions and chairmanship of Union secretary Finance. This committee was set up on July 22 for revision on allowance recommended by Justice A K Mathur.
Last meeting was held on 01 September 2016. And it is expected to give report on revised different allowances (HRA, TA, Medical etc) this week to Arun Jaitley.

As per 7th Pay Commission panel, they have examined total 196 allowances. They have recommended abolition of 51 different allowances and subsuming of 37 allowances. At the time of implementation of 7th pay commission in August 2016 there are lots of dispute and implications in government employees. They were not satisfied with this structure. So central government has formed one committee for revision on allowances.

As per media report this committee give final report within week. So implementations of revised allowances are given from 01 October 2016.
