Central Government Employee gets Higher Allowances from January 2017 by 7th Pay Commission. This news is declared by the committee of 7th pay commission. All central government employee are waiting for final report on allowances. Allowances like house rant allowance, extra duty allowance, overtime allowance, holiday allowance etc are not declared in final notification of 7th CPC. One committee is formed to finalize this allowance and they have to submit report within four month. Central Government Employee gets Higher Allowances from January 2017

As per news from the finance ministry, government will start giving higher allowances to all central government employee as per recommendation of 7th pay commission from January 2017. After the cash crunch, government will start paying this allowances in salary.

Government will pay this higher allowance with effect from August 2016, but central government employee union demand this effect from January 2016.

Government want to pay arrears of this allowance from August 2016 but union demand arrears from January 2016.

In 7th pay commission, as per recommendation abolition of 51 allowances and subsuming 37 others out of 196 allowances are implemented. So union is unhappy with this. So finance ministry have formed one committee to review this allowance report and given time of four month. Now this time is over and going to finalization of report.

Central Government Employee Union demands 10, 20 and 30 percentage HRA, but recommendation of 7th CPC is 8, 16 and 24 percentage.

Union has also asked to enhance children education allowance, fixed medical allowance and so more.

we have to wait till final reports submit by committee. Till now we have all employee have to get allowances according to 6th pay commission.
