Higher Allowances for Central Government Employee likely after Budget: 7th Pay Commission
After so much waiting for Higher allowances as per 7th Pay Commission, Recently Finance Minister announce after Budget for 2017 – 18 all central government employee will get revised allowances as per 7th CPC.
The government wants to start payment of higher allowances under 7th Pay Commission for its 48 lakh employees and 52 lakh pensioners, but the cash shortage has compelled the government to delay it.
Committee on allowance headed by Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa has finalized the report on the allowances in October. But Central Government dont want to release this allowances so they gave extension to committee till February 2017 for submit report for Higher Allowance as per 7th Pay Commission recommendation.
