Human Resource Development Ministry Approves for KVS Employee
HRD Minister tweet “Approved the recommendation for implementation of 7th Pay Commission to employees of KVS at par with other central govt. employees”

From this month they get revised HRA allowance as per 7th Pay Commission recommendation. All rule for allowances are applicable as Central Government Employee.

Till now, all Kendriya Vidyalaya employee get HRA allowance as per 6th pay commission. Currently HRA allowance percentage is 10%, 20% and 30% of basic salary of 6th CPC.

After this notification, all KVS staff get new HRA allowance as recommended by 7th Pay Panel. In 7th CPC House Rent Allowance percentage is 8%, 16% and 24% of new basic of 7th CPC Matrix. So your gross salary increase by handsome amount.
