Central government had formed review committee to review recommendations given by 7th pay panel. This committee is headed by Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa. No Hike in TA, HRA remains at 30% : 7th Pay Commission
After one week Committee on allowances submitted its report to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Report suggested that there will be no hike in Transport Allowance and there may be a chance that House Rant Remains as it is, as per 7th pay panel recommendation.

Central government employee union and labour union are not happy with this hike in 7th Pay Commission. So central government has implemented only hike in basic pay as per matrix and formed one committee to review allowances recommended by 7th CPC panel. This committee has to submit final report on allowance within four month, but they have delayed report. Here is the list of reason why committee has delay report.
Review committee is aggried with the 7th Pay Commission’s recommendation on Transport Allowance.
There is a news of HRA allowance to increased by 120% : By 7th Pay Commission Committee but there is no chance to hike in HRA. House rent allowance remains same as per recommendation given by 7th CPC panel. All this point will be clear after the final submission of this review report. Till now government employee get allowances as per 6th pay commission.
