National Federation of Indian Railway and other Central Government union writes to PM Narendra Modi about revision of minimum salary, pension, multiplication factor and allowances. At the time of implementation of 7th pay commission, all central government union and NFIR was not satisfy with the recommendation given by 7th pay commission panel. They  have demanded more but, government implemented 7th CPC for CG employee with giving assurance to increase allowances. So till now government is paying allowances as per 6th pay commission and committee is working for review allowances recommendation. on 30th June 2016, with the effect of strike action by central government employee union and National Federation of Indian Railway, senior cabinet ministers gave assurance that within four months for improving the minimum wage and applying revised multiplier factor for pay fixation in 7th CPC Pay Matrices to the Central Government employees which include over 1.3 million Railway employees. Now, after five month there is no any action in this direction. Railway employee of Indian Railway are disappointed over non-fulfillment of assurances. So they put their demand against PM Narendra Modi directly.

NFIR also notice to Railway Ministry and Finance Ministry for NPS (National Pension Scheme) because government has not given its approval till now. There is no pension scheme for railway employee who had joined from 01-01-2004. They are extremely agitated as there is no social security to them and their families in the form of guaranteed pension.

So NFIR raised issue against P M Narendra Modi for revision of multiplication factor, minimum pay and national pension scheme.
