Seventh Pay Commission is creating so much news in the country. Government of India didn’t announced to create the commission. Lots of federation and association has demanded to form the 7th Pay Commission as early as possible in near time otherwise they will go on strike. Recently, three big federations/associations All India Railwaymen Federation, Confederation of Central Government Employees’ Association and All India Defence Employees Association seeks constitution of seventh pay commission before August, 2013 otherwise they will go on strike as reported in The Hindu newspaper.
All three bodies will wait till August, 2013; if Central Government will not form the commission then they will go on strike which will effect the daily life of common man. This strike will by nation-wide as reported in the “The Hindu” newspaper.
As per reports, there will be more than 25 lakhs employees will join the strike which will be nation-wide if central Government failed to create the commission.
It is one of the crucial time for the Indian National Congress (INC) led Government under the leadership of Mr. Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi. General Elections of India 2014 is very much near and they also didn’t wants to make employees unhappy.
“Among the demands are merger of dearness allowance with basic pay, rolling back of new pension scheme, scrapping of ceiling on bonus and appointment on compassionate ground.” C. A. Raja Sridhar, Zonal President of Southern Railway Mazdoor Union has added.
